About Me.

My name is Kameron Ellenberger, I am a freshman at Hardin-Simmons University. I enjoy many sports, my whole life until now I bowled competitively, played football, and baseball. Here on campus I play intramural sports including volleyball, basketball, and possibly softball. For this reason I have decided to pursue a major in exercise science, to become a coach or personal trainer. I grew up in Marble Falls, Texas, a small town about an hour northwest of Austin. I loved fishing and hunting, and anything outdoors. I lived with a single mom and a little brother my whole life, a lot of people say it was probably hard, but I am who I am because of it and would never change it. I was very involved in my youth group throughout high school, and tried to be as much of a leader as I could in every aspect of my life. I also love animals and enjoy learning new things about them all of the time.

    1. Hi Kameron Ellenberger! I too was raised by a single mother and I am the oldest of three. I understand what you mean by “I am who I am because of it and would never change it." My dad always says, “How can you be mad at how you were raised when you love who you came to be.” The irony. However, I couldn’t agree with him more. Every experience was a stepping stone to who I am today. On another note it must have been nice to have participated in so many sports. Which sport did you enjoy most?

(I had to revise my post, sorry)

  2. Hi! I am a single mom to 4 boys and your right it is hard at times, but it does makes us who we are and God will use that part of our story to help others. Its great to see how involved you are in church. Sounds like you are doing great and so did your mom!
